Arukay was founded in the innovation laboratory of Harvard University and has reached more than 30,000 children in Colombia between the ages of 4 and 17. We have developed projects in 10 cities in Colombia, reaching more than 150 schools, both public and private, imparting STEAM education. We are currently opening operations in Ecuador, Peru, México, and Spain.
Arukay’s mission is to transform education using exponential technologies providing students necessary tools to be successful in the changing world of the future.
For the year 2025, we seek to help make 100 million students fully coding bilingual. In this way, we will be able to leverage the growth of a generation that is prepared to participate in the labor market of the near future.
She has more than 19 years of experience leading teams in the financial, education, and health industries. She has been the Director of Internet at the Stock Exchange of Colombia and the Pension Fund Porvenir. She has acted as vice-president of Operations at Best Doctors, and was the founder of INNCUBATED (the first education startup incubator in Colombia). She graduated from Universidad de Los Andes, CESA, and Harvard University.
He has more than 19 years of experience in financial and strategic advising, 10 years exclusively working for the education sector, guiding institutions, companies, and business groups. He was in charge of the Latin American region for The Parthenon Group, one of the most recognized consulting firms in educational strategy based in Boston. He studied engineering at Universidad de Los Andes. Later on he graduated in business at Wharton School (UPenn), and has an MBA from Harvard Business School (HBS).
